South West England and South Wales area conference: Reflect, re-plan and respond

Category: EVENT LOCAL

Does your organisation’s leadership have the ability to foresee, identify and handle the impact of unexpected, non-normative events? Join us to learn how to better prepare your organisations to succeed in the face of change. Uncertainty recently increased following the UK General Election.

Following the vote to leave the European Union, companies and individuals have to learn to cope with uncertainty and ensure that their business is positioned to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities. We will need to make complex decisions based on incomplete information and work with business colleagues, customers, suppliers and others.

We have gathered a range of compelling speakers who will provoke ideas, challenge perceptions and increase your knowledge. We will look at the ‘facts’ and how we need to operate as finance professionals (the human side of Brexit):

Big data and decision making - Professor Lukumon Oyedele, Chair Professor and Director of Bristol Enterprise, Research and Innovation Centre (BERIC), University of West of England
Brexit – Where are we now? - Leo Ringer, Head of UK, Global Counsel
UK investment and economy - Justin Urquhart-Stewart, Co-founder and Head of Corporate Development, Seven Investment Management (7IM)

The day will provide insights into what may happen, allow you to plan responses within your organisation.

There will also be an opportunity to discuss contemporary challenges with other delegates in a ‘safe’ environment.
