CPD

CIMA professional development is the continuing professional development scheme for CIMA members; it supports you in your career by helping you identify your future learning needs.

How do you prefer to learn? We want to hear from you.

It is important to us that we are meeting your learning and development needs.  We would therefore like to hear your views about professional development, how you prefer to learn and your areas of development for 2017. Take our short online survey today.*

All CIMA members and CGMAs are required to undertake CPD and keep a record of their development activities. See regulation 15 of the royal charter, byelaws and regulations for more information.

How to meet your CPD requirements

What are the benefits?

As business becomes increasingly complex, learning throughout your career ensures that you:

  • Remain up to date and relevant
  • Develop your knowledge and skills
  • Play your part in maintaining the integrity and credibility of the qualification and the profession.

How much do I need to do?

CIMA doesn’t prescribe numbers of hours or units, we simply ask that you do as much as you need to remain professionally competent and meet your career goals.
